2011 Kuwait Health Contractors Conference and Exhibition The Kuwait Fair Ground, Hall, 11-13 April 2011

The 1st Kuwait Health Contractors Conference and Exhibition organized by Universal Co. held from 12-13 April 2010 at the Convention Center, Hotel Movenpick, Kuwait proved a success providing unique opportunity for healthcare professionals and contractors from related industries to be active partners in the healthcare infrastructure development process in Kuwait.

The biggest event in healthcare organized under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Hilal Al Sayer, Kuwait Minister of Health, was attended by over 500 delegates and provided a platform for leading professional healthcare organizations to identify potential business opportunities and bridge the gap between quality healthcare providers and consumer markets.

Speaking at the inaugural session, Dr. Al Sayer stated "This conference confirms the seriousness of the Ministry of Health to involve the private sector represented by the local and international companies to contribute to the implementation of mega projects beginning with Jaber Hospital followed by a series of new hospitals the Ministry is implementing in collaboration with the concerned Ministries of the State".

One of the key-note speakers, Ms. Lisa Baker, Principal NBBJ wrote, "It was great to share the story of Bayt Abdullah with the attendees and Dr. Hilal Al Sayer in particular was pleased that we were able to raise awareness for their visionary project"

The exhibition with a phenomenal turnout of over 5000 visitors was a success with around 30 leading healthcare companies exhibiting the latest advancements in healthcare technology, systems and processes.

The educative workshop covering Hospital Design-Build, Maintenance and Medical Gas Issues was attended by over 40 participants.
